Pen is the general instrument that is being used to write commonly on a paper. In ancient times, people used to write with the help of ink. But with the changing time a new discovery to write was known as pen. Like say of above 90% of world population is using pens in their daily life. The refill once uses complete internal ink then fall in the need to be refilled again with an assistance of ink pot. The simplest type of ballpoint pens have a cap to cover the tip when the pen is not in use, while others have a mechanism for retracting the tip. The fundamental concept that is worked behind this mechanism is a button at the top and powered by a spring within the pen apparatus. You will also come across even other locking kind of system like pair of buttons, a screw, or a slide. - Roller ball pens combine the ballpoint design with the use of liquid ink and flow systems from fountain pens. - Space pens combine a more viscous than normal ballpoint pen ink with a gas pressurized piston which forces the ink toward the point. This design allows the pen to write even upside down or in zero gravity environments.

Thus, ballpoint pen has its own significance because of its utilization in routine life. Black ballpoint pen has gained much of fame within short time in all ballpoint products.
